This tactic is a derivative of the force upgrade tactic.
why produce a lord eagle?
A lord eagle
has the brilliant ability to be able to see the whole landscape.
The effect is much like the fog-of-war being lifted off the scanner and landscape,
allowing you to see all around.
how do you produce a lord eagle?
Normally, an eagle like any other creature will upgrade with battle experience.
However, eagles are so weak, they would need constant healing to achieve this state.
Instead, you can sacrifice your own troops.
Create a sacrifice creature, preferably a very strong one.
Then create an eagle, select it, and while holding 'A', right click on your sacrifice creature to issue a force attack.
The eagle will now peck away,
and although it may take time (and possibly more sacrifices)
eventually the eagle will become a lord,
and the map will be fully revealed from blackness.
Now you must keep your lord eagle safe.
