alt-tab doesn't work
This is independent of hardware.
symptoms
pressing alt-tab does not switch between processes as expected
alt-tab produces a flickery loop/monitor goes out of sync
upon switching back after alt+tabbing, the game does not restore
problem
Under Windows98 the switching code is disabled (deemed unrealible),
but under Windows2000 it couldn't be (because of the ctrl-alt-del combination).
solutions
Windows is a multi-tasking OS,
but the ability to alt-tab is not a coded feature of this product,
and therefore not supported.
Do not use it.
To exit the game you must quit.
The 'internet' button on the keyboard has been reported to work in some cases.
