tactics
This is a very difficult level, if you don't have the
pestilence spell...
spell choice
You must have pestilence spell.
You should have picked up the chaos talisman and iron pyrite ingredient in the goblin mine.
If you didn't (and we did warn you!) you should go back and do the last few levels again
- it's a pain, but it'll be worth it.
Take a
fireball spell in too.
If you don't have pestilence...
It will take all your mana to kill just one wizard using fireball, lightning, or meteor shower, so don't bother with them.
There are no undead troops in this level either, so bury would be a waste.
Trolls are very expensive, and the enemy dryads will make short work of them.
So what do you use?
using daephus
The black guy in the red jumpsuit(!) is supposedly your friend.
Although he'll give you some mana sprites, ant the ability to haste, he'll won't help you out in a fight.
However he will make you invisible for a period of time
- so return to Daephus when you see the invisibility spell start to run out (a gold star will appear above your head).
Daephus will then reapply the effect to you.
upstairs rooms
Rooms with items can not be entered until the wizard fight has begun.
If you decide to make a run for the rooms,
even with haste,
you will become visible before you can get back to Daephus.
Taking along a zombie spells works nicely - they can hold the dryads back on the front steps
while you use the back steps with invisibility.
step by step
speak to the wizard at the bar
escape the conversation, and hover over the pause button
as soon as you get given the mana sprites, press pause
select Aurax, then right click him to move north
now select the pestilence spell, and cast it on each wizard
check that each wizard has caught pestilnce - if not, cast it on them again
now just wait, and keep Aurax out of danger
when pestilence has depleted their health to almost zero, fire two fireballs at each wizard to finish them off
